The Commission on Mental Health & Substance Abuse examines the current methods of providing

policies. The commission must submit reports by September 1, 2022 and 2023, and is repealed

The Tobacco Education and Use Prevention Advisory Council advises and reviews a statewide

programs, as well as counseling and referral services to those struggling with tobacco use
related habits or diseases.

The corporation is created within the Department of Economic Opportunity to administer the
Recovery Fund for the benefit of disproportionately affected counties that experienced economic
damage from the Deepwater Horizon disaster. The corporation monitors, reviews, and evaluates
awardees and related projects or programs created under the Gulf Coast Economic Corridor Act.
The board of directors shall review the Recovery Fund, establish and review priorities for
economic recovery in disproportionately affected counties, and determine use of the earnings
available.
